  • Floor models are final sale. Rights for defective, damaged or misdescribed goods still apply. See our Returns policy.
  • The chair's condition is described in writing before you buy and checked with you at handover.
  • Warranty coverage for each floor model is confirmed in your written quote.
  • Floor models are not eligible for 6-Month Price Protection, trade-in or upgrade credit, or the Service Discount.
  • Delivery terms: Shipping policy, section 11.
  • You can see the chair in person or ask us for photos before you decide.

Floor model questions

What is a floor model?

A floor model is the same chair we sell new, taken from our showroom floor. Guests have tried it, so it may show light signs of display use. Before it leaves the showroom we inspect it and run a full function test.

Why aren't floor-model prices listed online?

Each floor model is one chair, and its price depends on its condition. We confirm the price with you by phone so it matches the exact chair.

Can I see the chair before I buy?

Yes. We tell you which showroom has it. Visit to try it, or ask us to send photos.

Can you ship a floor model outside the Bay Area?

No. Floor models are delivered only within the nine Bay Area counties above, or picked up at the showroom.

Can I return a floor model?

Floor models are final sale. If the chair is defective, damaged or not as described, your rights under our policies and the law still apply.
